DescriptionCysteaminee, also known as cysteaminee or cysteaminee, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alkylthiols. These are organic compounds containing the thiol functional group linked to an alkyl chain. Cysteaminee exists as a solid, possibly soluble (in water), and a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa) molecule. Cysteaminee exists in all living organisms, ranging from bacteria to humans. Cysteaminee participates in a number of enzymatic reactions, within cattle. In particular, Pantothenic acid and cysteaminee can be biosynthesized from pantetheine; which is catalyzed by the enzyme pantetheinase. In addition, Cysteaminee can be converted into hypotaurine through its interaction with the enzyme Cysteaminee dioxygenase. In cattle, cysteaminee is involved in a couple of metabolic pathways, which include pantothenate and CoA biosynthesis pathway and the taurine and hypotaurine metabolism pathway.
