Coproporphyrinogen I exists as a solid, possibly soluble (in water), and a weakly acidic compound (based on its pKa) molecule. Coproporphyrinogen I exists in all living species, ranging from bacteria to humans. In cattle, coproporphyrinogen i is involved in the metabolic pathway called the porphyrin metabolism pathway. |
